This is Julius Visconti reporting in. It's been so long since I last spoke up. I figured that I should say something in case anyone was worrying. There's nothing wrong on on my end, thankfully. [He just went out for five months straight...on a mission he didn't even enjoy all that much.]

Today I'd like to ask about weapons. In your opinion, what's the most efficient and effective weapon?

Personally I prefer using assault guns for ranged attacks. We all come from different places so I expect to hear unique answers.

Thanks for the validation, man. But, uh, what sparked this? The whole question thing. You said you use guns, is that the most common weapon for you back home?

Many military soldiers in my world use guns or customized weapons. After taking a quick glance around, you can see that lots of us here use weapons too.

Didn't you ever want to know more about them?

Yeah, that seems like the thing to go for. I mean... I guess it makes sense, most people don't exactly have the brute force to use that approach, or the skill. You have to be something special not to need weapons. [ ... like Scott, like a werewolf. ]

Hey, man, I always want to know more about everything. But there's literally a million things you could ask people about their worlds and the differences, weapons wasn't exactly my first thought.

You aren't exactly wrong. Maybe you'd want to ask about culture or even technology. [Or other things, it's true you can ask a million questions.]

I just believe that there must be a story behind a finely tuned weapon from another world. The same thing applies to our weapons as well.

Maybe. Just, you know, ask about something like "culture" and how do you even define that? It's, like, enough material for a trilogy.

My weapon was originally meant to be used against a fearsome god. Something that powerful shouldn't be used normally. [Seriously, you don't need a god slaying weapon just for a standard mission.]

I've been using common weapons as a substitute.

Hah, probably is. I don't want to use it unless we have to. [Last resort tactic, yeah.]

I came from the year 2075. That's a bit farther off than most people I've spoken to. How about you? What's your place like?

Yeah, definitely farther off than me, take about 63 years off that and we're staring to hit the mark.

I recognize that country. It went through a lot of changes recently, but it still exists in my world. [USA survives through an apocalypse. It's hanging in there. ]

Maybe we have more things in common than I initially thought.
