[Sakura is sitting on her bed at the inn, stroking a tiny lion cub, courtesy of one Gilgamesh. The last few days have been rather exhausting to say the least, but she's been doing her best to get out and help, while trying to keep in mind Adrien's advice to take a break now and then. Which now is one of those times, as she comes back inside to check on her new pet.]

I really should think of a name for you, you know. I can't just keep calling you 'cub-san'. I'm not sure if Kero-chan might get jealous or confused if I named you after him though....Maybe from that movie? Ah, what does everyone else think? Graham-san, everyone, any ideas?

[And now for the real reason she turned her necklace on.]

Also....um, what happens with birthdays? Do we still get older with ALASTAIR and all? I never thought to ask before, but....[Well. April 1st is her birthday.] Well, it seems important, right? To figuring how old we are and if we need to get presents for our friends. When is everyone else's birthdays anyway?

My birthday falls on the full snow moon each cycle- and I shall be counting the last one, as it was close enough to my own recollection!

Ah, does that mean I missed yours?

[She was asking so she could get presents for her friends. Hopefully she hasn't missed her chance. Or will still be here to for the next time? It's hard to say, exactly.]

Ah, really? Then...I'll have to get you something and make up for it now things are. Er, sort of calmer!

N-no, it's okay! I mean, it's only fair, if everyone is going to get me presents because I was asking and all. Maybe I can find you a nice dress or something.

I do need to acquire more clothing better suited to this place...

But I'm twelve, now. I guess.

Twelve. It is good not to be alone in this momentous year of our lives.

True. I'd want to make sure if I did get you some clothes that it would fit.

[Because with various worlds she isn't so sure on the idea on returns or refunds....]

[Well, it is. Back home when she is twelve, dealing with Eriol, realizing and confessing her love to Syaoran. But that has yet to happen for her still while she's here helping ALASTAIR.]

Besides, I believe we are some of the few who may be able to make use of these native fashions.

Why, of course- ! We are practically women grown now!

That's true. We probably are the closest in size to the natives here.

[Practically grown women. Well, perhaps that might be so for Sieglinde back home, but not so much in regards to Sakura's.]

Maybe we would be, in some cultures. Not quite yet back home though, for me, anyway.

[And let's face it, it's been kind of funny on occasion to see people hit their shins and heads... Just a little.]

No. Not yet, anyway. I think that's more when we're....hm, eighteen? Once we finish school. That's when we tend to move out and get a job full time, or go to study at university.

[Th- That's like- at least one child by that point age, right?]

Y-yes....I guess that might seem strange to you though. If we're considered adults at twelve back home for you.

[There's a lot of differences even just with timing, or cultures in a single world, let alone entirely different settings with ALASTAIR's recruitment.]

A- At eighteen many women have at least a husband, if not a child...... at least- that is how I understood it...

[Seeing as. Her village was almost entirely women, but.]

Some do have children pretty young. I know my mother was really young when she and my dad married and all. But not everyone. A lot of women seem to be waiting a bit longer, with their job or study. At least, back home.

What are they doing for work that would interfere so with childrearing?

[As far as she knew... women were largely working in or just in the fields around the home. Her own village was an exception with women doing all sorts of jobs only because... there were no men.]

Oh, women can do all sorts of work. Police offers, doctors, fire-fighters, teachers, writers, actresses, shopkeepers, business.....my mum was a model.

[It's why they have so so many photographs of her around the house. Which Sakura is thankful for, since her passing.]

And Tomoyo-chan's mother runs a toy company!

... I also know a person who runs a toy company. There must be many of these toys in the outside world...

Have you many doctors?

[To make sure the less children that are happening don't die young??]

Really, who? I know it's a lot of work, but sometimes Tomoyo-chan shows me some of the...hm, what do you call them, the prototypes? So it can be fun.

[As for the doctors....]

Sure there are! At the hospitals or at the clinics.

Well, that is good to hear. Those of my world do not have such luxuries.

Funtom? In London....I see. Is Ciel-san a friend of yours?

[Is he? She said she knew him but maybe not quite that well.]

No? But you can still go see someone if you're sick or hurt, right?
