But I am also naturally suspicious, hence my literary reference. Though your own comparison is probably more apt, I will agree.

...Though considering there are those who will take the gifts, perhaps you could ask them to speak with you and explain their newfound abilities? Since you are quite a bit more well-versed in such things, perhaps you could also discover some of the underlying causes or points of interest with them. If there are any, at least.
