Of course you haven't. [A sigh.] Anyways, it's quite a large place. We've got landmasses all over, complete with several large oceans and seas that separate said landmasses. In terms of climate, you've got a wide range, depending on how close you are to the equator - that's the imaginary line dividing the planet in half, you see. The closer you get, the hotter it tends to be, and the opposite holds true, too.

...Honestly, I don't know if I'm boring you, this is all a-grade factual stuff they teach us as kids, I don't know how much of it would be interesting to a space traveler.
