Well, I can't say my world is anything terribly exciting. [If he sounds a little miffed, that's because he is. Somehow it irritates him that there are all these people walking about claiming they've traveled to different galaxies and planets. Back home, that kind of stuff was the stuff of stories, not reality. At least, not in his present reality.]

It's called Earth. It's the third planet from the sun in a system we call the Milky Way. I don't take it that you've heard of it?

A-as for interstellar travel, it's pretty basic stuff on my home planet. They haven't even figured out how to reach the closest planet with a manned spacecraft yet. Mostly it's unmanned probes and artificial satellites, blah blah.

Look, you're the first organic I've heard that has any knowledge in metal, let alone, mechanical engineering.
