[ Undyne had said she wanted more guidance from ALASTAIR. Here she is, with more guidance, and she doesn’t know if she likes it. Looking more ragged than ever, she’s standing with Pearl, with the volcano Nalalona in the background. ]

Alright chumps, listen up, it’s time for some teamwork! ALASTAIR has some ideas about what we can do to get the volcano going again, so everyone can get their powers back. ...it’s going to involve a bomb.

[Pearl clears her throat, despite the fact her body is flickering in and out of view at some points during the video. The Gem stands tall as she gestures back to the volcano.]

This is correct. ALASTAIR has entrusted us with schematics of creating a bomb and a catapult. It’s up to us to gather the necessary supplies and assemble them.

They have observed a high level of tectonic plate activity here, near the Nalalona volcano. With enough force -- the bomb in this case -- we can possibly trigger an eruption and restore the natives’ Gifts, along with our own magical abilities. The volcano’s opening is large enough for us to hit our mark with the bomb. It’s up to us to put it all together.

We can’t afford to not try. Look around you, half our team relies on magic just to exist. This isn’t just about helping the natives use magic anymore, this about saving ourselves. If you don’t use magic, good for you, but if you have a heart, you’ll understand why this is important, and why if I catch anyone slacking off, they’ll be answering to my spear about why they don't think it's important. Got it?!

[Pearl glances to Undyne and offers her a weak smile. The situation they were all facing was quite dire. She faces the feed again.]

I know we have the ability to make this work. And we will, if we all work together on this. Every little bit helps!

That's what we hope it will accomplish! If we can gather the right ingredients ans build everything correctly, down to the exact detail... we should be able to restore magic.

I dunno. Are there any among us who'd take that part seriously enough to kill a Nalawi? This is the first time ALASTAIR's sent me anywhere, I'm not exactly familiar with our crew either. You'd probably know better than I.

It will fail if our instructions are faulty in the first place. Then it doesn't matter how well we execute the plan, not if it wasn't set up to work properly to begin with. But we'll cross that bridge when we get there, I suppose. Gathering is the most productive thing that most of us can do now.

What would we need? Maybe I can help at least try find some of the supplies for us.

[Pearl crosses her arms and quirks a brow.]

I don't think it will anger them, unless you intend to push it too far. [POINTED LOOK.]

Besides, we're probably 'strange' to them, being over four feet tall.

Right now, it's a possible option.

We'll have a list of supplies ready for you when we assemble everyone together to gather everything together at once. We'll need all the help we can get.

[That's something she hadn't considered. What if the Nawali were to turn on them? Pearl considers it for a moment before she shakes her head.]

If the Nawali come at us, well. At least we'll be on an even playing field, magic-wise. This team is strong, I've seen it. Everyone here is possible of great thing, even greater things when working in a group. We restored a sun. We can restore our powers.

[A small sigh escapes her.]

It's not the best alternative, but it's something to work off of. It has to at least lead us somewhere.

In my experience, being 'strange' is a good first step in inciting anger.

[Actually, that hits home for her. And it rings true. Her ace falls a fraction, shifting her weight. She puffs up her chest.]

We are the ones helping them, strange or not. I would hope that they would at least be appreciative of our efforts.

Good intentions are nice an' all... but sometimes sticking your nose where it don't belong only puts ya in the position to lose something.

[Pearl's arms hang loosely at her sides before she lifts one hand to rub at her temple.]

You have a point. Everyone does in this situation. I just hope something comes out of this. Something in which it could lead us in the right direction to maybe even finding this goddess of theirs.

We'll have to see what happens.

Then the Nawali will have to seek out other gods or goddesses to look up to. Or... learn fend for themselves.

Some of the humans will help do it. And some won't. You know not all humans are the same, and it's wrong to think less of them for something one does! Graham feels very strongly about this because he's just worried. But I think things will be okay!
