The opposite, actually. I don't trust them to have our interests in mind, so much as their own. I just can't imagine their interests don't somehow line up with keeping us more-or-less alive, for now. We're still valuable.

At this point, we can go through with it, or not, but one way or another we will have to wait to see what happens.
