You say their kind like you think it'll actually work! You're from an entirely different universe than these creatures! Doesn't it -- doesn't it parse that you can't be certain? Have you tested your powers on this world's ostensible pantheon? Don't you think planning for every contingency would be, I don't know, the best way not to die?
