VIDEO. UN: LOKI
[ the sound of the wind storm hollows dully against the cave walls. Loki's squidge, Bacon, can half be seen crawling in the confines of his tacky green jacket and over his knee from where he sits, sometimes ducking and squeaking when a particularly large gust hits. to keep it from screaming, Loki offers his fingers absently, which the little squidge pulls on with its pudgy arms before ducking low again. ]
Hello there, it seems like we'll be waiting this out for some time considering the weather-type circumstances. While we're all rotting away, etcetera etcetera, I thought we could amuse ourselves with a game. A little bit of team bonding funtimes, so to say. [ he twists a dark nailed hand in the air, gesturing. ]
Soo—oo ... it's called Two Truths and a Lie. How do you play? Glad you asked, it's simple! Give two true statements about yourself and add a lie to the mix, shake it up then toss it out there and see if your team members know you well enough to spot the lie.
Usually this is done with copious amounts of alcohol, but we're lacking at the moment. [ pause. ] But—ah—you could always enjoy the satisfaction of being right. It's not like we're doing much else.
NOTE | Feel free to threadjack if that's your thing!! :****

You know me too well, Hanzo.

[ Dreamy sounding. ] Though, they got rid of most of the machines I wrote my name on and traded in the games that were there... it was a lot fun spending my time there even if it was a complete waste.
no subject
[Despite how exasperated Hanzo may sound, there is a bit of fondness in his voice.]
I am surprised to hear you say that you considerate it a waste now. ...More teachings from your master?
no subject
[ An obvious smile in his voice. ]
No. I don't think he would consider anything I did that brought me happiness in the past to be a waste. It is something I came up with on my own after reevaluating my life. [ Which he only did because of his master, so huh. ]
no subject
[He can hear it. Hanzo is a little grateful that he doesn't have the video display on.
He smiles to himself, briefly, for a second.]
Hm. [Hanzo suspects as much. He doesn't want to waste time talking about Zenyatta, though.]
...You have changed so much, Genji.
no subject
[ Or rather, the many times that their father took Genji's side. Because Genji was younger and he was coddled a lot more than what he should have been. He still smiles and still laughs all the same. ]
... I have. I had to, too... I could not remain the foolish boy I was, nor the angry creature I became. I feel more like a person now than I did then.
no subject
[Hanzo hesitates. This is not a topic he should be broaching now. Or ever. He sighs.]
You--
[Are not the Genji he knew. There are hints of his playfulness, but he is older. Wiser. More patient.
It irritates him.]
It has brought you much peace, I can see.
no subject
[ The mirth slides a little as he notes the hesitation. He pauses in turn. ]
It has.
And something that I do not think is out of the grasp of anyone.
no subject
Are you going to lecture me on what I could or could not become?
no subject
Merely offering to say again that finding the same peace is always still possible. No matter how lost a person may be.

I may have misspoke and for that I am sorry. [ Patience and understanding are the weapons that he will wield. He will not let himself feel anger and go into an argument. That's hardly the point of all the fun that everyone is having -- and everyone who could see. ]
no subject
I do not need your apology.
no subject
But when I do wrong, it is only right to do.
no subject
Eventually, he sighs.]
There is nothing to forgive. Know that, then.
no subject
Of course, brother.
