Loki's squidge, Bacon, can half be seen crawling in the confines of his tacky green jacket and over his knee from where he sits, sometimes ducking and squeaking when a particularly large gust hits. to keep it from screaming, Loki offers his fingers absently, which the little squidge pulls on with its pudgy arms before ducking low again. ]

Hello there, it seems like we'll be waiting this out for some time considering the weather-type circumstances. While we're all rotting away, etcetera etcetera, I thought we could amuse ourselves with a game. A little bit of team bonding funtimes, so to say. [ he twists a dark nailed hand in the air, gesturing. ]

Soo—oo ... it's called Two Truths and a Lie. How do you play? Glad you asked, it's simple! Give two true statements about yourself and add a lie to the mix, shake it up then toss it out there and see if your team members know you well enough to spot the lie.

Usually this is done with copious amounts of alcohol, but we're lacking at the moment. [ pause. ] But—ah—you could always enjoy the satisfaction of being right. It's not like we're doing much else.

Yeah, at least you've got plenty other people to beat on this post, looks like. Ah-- [Oh, this question...he blinks, a little startled.] 'Survive'? I mean, I don't know, I just...sort of did? [Shizuo what kind of answer is that--] I was in bed for weeks on end for it, though, it was a real pain...I'd be up for a little bit and then I'd keep re-breaking them over again, and stuff.

H-How on earth did you keep rebreaking them?! What were you doing as a child?!

Getting into a lot of fights, mainly. [This is more morose than anything. Shizuo shrugs.] My temper wasn't very good back then either, so things would set me off before everything was done healing up...made it take a lot longer.

[But this is...not an amount of concern he was actually expecting--seeing as how it was such a long time ago now? Olivia...] But, I'm fine now, so it's not really an issue. [He kind of...waves an arm, as evidence, hand opening and closing. It's all about as intact as the rest of him, which is pretty wholly so.] See? Just fine.

I suppose... I'm glad you aren't getting into any fights like that again. [ because? jesus?? what kind of fights was he getting into as a kid that would have broken fifty of his own bones??? ]

[Fights involving attempted angry car-throwing at age ten tbh...maybe Olivia can ask Haise for the deets someday. Shizuo certainly isn't going to clarify that unless directly asked here, though, considering Olivia's reaction so far......although, ah.]

Well, I mean. It still tends to happen...but I'd rather it didn't, yeah.

I've been doing pretty well lately, it's mostly just plants that have pissed me off. Most everyone's...ah, pretty nice here? [He sounds a little surprised at this even as he says it--mostly because the thought's just now occurred to him, now he thinks about it...]

Ah, there's probably going to be unsavory personalities in every big crowd. Maybe that's part of it though...I've always lived in a city before this, so the crowds you get there are pretty huge. Even more of a chance of running into unsavory people. Like--

[This thought's even more unbidden than the last, and apparently extremely unpleasant, if the grimace that suddenly crosses Shizuo's features is anything to go by. He glances offscreen at nothing in particular, scowling.]

--No, nevermind. I just thought of a really obnoxious person. ...But he's not here either. [And with a huff and a slight shrug, the dark expression shifts away and back to a neutral frown again.] So yeah, maybe that's why. Different kinds of people here.

What? [Well, this is certainly enough of a distraction too. Shizuo blinks, frown taking on a confused slant.] What're you apologizing for? [Moving on!!!] Anyway, the lie was about milk, since I actually like milk a lot.

Mm, there is a difference in taste, I think. But nothing too terribly noticeable, either! I guess I'm just biased, since it was a lot easier to come by for us.

Yeah, that would make sense, especially if you're around a lot more goats or something...I should look into trying some of that sort of milk sometime, though. Does it go alright with strawberry or chocolate? Hey, which flavor would you probably recommend?

Though accompanying it with that startlingly happy face makes it a little visibly startling, on Shizuo's end--he blinks in a bit of surprise, at the enthusiasm suddenly practically radiating out of the feed--but then he's rolling that off with a slight shrug. Ah, whatever...plan, date. She seems to figure it's the same thing, so that's fine....]

Sounds good, then. We can see about things once we get back, in that case.
