Loki's squidge, Bacon, can half be seen crawling in the confines of his tacky green jacket and over his knee from where he sits, sometimes ducking and squeaking when a particularly large gust hits. to keep it from screaming, Loki offers his fingers absently, which the little squidge pulls on with its pudgy arms before ducking low again. ]

Hello there, it seems like we'll be waiting this out for some time considering the weather-type circumstances. While we're all rotting away, etcetera etcetera, I thought we could amuse ourselves with a game. A little bit of team bonding funtimes, so to say. [ he twists a dark nailed hand in the air, gesturing. ]

Soo—oo ... it's called Two Truths and a Lie. How do you play? Glad you asked, it's simple! Give two true statements about yourself and add a lie to the mix, shake it up then toss it out there and see if your team members know you well enough to spot the lie.

Usually this is done with copious amounts of alcohol, but we're lacking at the moment. [ pause. ] But—ah—you could always enjoy the satisfaction of being right. It's not like we're doing much else.

ALASTAIR used to consist almost entirely of volunteers. As the multiverse becomes more unstable, more rifts appear, and more tumble through. More recruits for a growing need.

Put succinctly: Audentes has no volunteers, but other teams do.

[ Rey reads this, as well as the responses to Loki, and thinks on it a moment, vaguely surprised by the conclusion she draws. She's hesitant to say so because technically Crowley never said she was wrong, merely corrected her reasoning, but ... ] So are you saying that you did volunteer, even though your world is fine?

Is your guess that the first is a lie, then?

No. My guess was that the second was, but you never told me if I was right or wrong.

If your home planet's not one of the ones in danger, then what made you decide to join? How did you even hear about ALASTAIR?

I'll have to say three, because that doesn't seem like something a volunteer would admit to outright in mixed company.

I wonder if you know how many unapologetic murderers are in your team, recruit urahara. That said, I did not say what I enjoy to kill.

Fair point, but I never said we're not a bunch of hypocrites, either.

And as long as it's not "recruits who make terrible guesses," I guess I can't say much.
