VIDEO. UN: LOKI
[ the sound of the wind storm hollows dully against the cave walls. Loki's squidge, Bacon, can half be seen crawling in the confines of his tacky green jacket and over his knee from where he sits, sometimes ducking and squeaking when a particularly large gust hits. to keep it from screaming, Loki offers his fingers absently, which the little squidge pulls on with its pudgy arms before ducking low again. ]
Hello there, it seems like we'll be waiting this out for some time considering the weather-type circumstances. While we're all rotting away, etcetera etcetera, I thought we could amuse ourselves with a game. A little bit of team bonding funtimes, so to say. [ he twists a dark nailed hand in the air, gesturing. ]
Soo—oo ... it's called Two Truths and a Lie. How do you play? Glad you asked, it's simple! Give two true statements about yourself and add a lie to the mix, shake it up then toss it out there and see if your team members know you well enough to spot the lie.
Usually this is done with copious amounts of alcohol, but we're lacking at the moment. [ pause. ] But—ah—you could always enjoy the satisfaction of being right. It's not like we're doing much else.
NOTE | Feel free to threadjack if that's your thing!! :****

[ . . . ]
I'm not usually the one asking this kind of question, but... are you a robot?
no subject
I am an omnic, which as most understand it, yes, I am a robot.

[ But only that much. All the same, she feels no need to do the whole Twenty Questions game. She does, however, feel a need to clarify. ]
It is always interesting to me to meet other robots. I was one once myself!
[ Even if it was more like a creepy soulbot... ]
no subject
[ That's a weird thing to say. ]
Once.

[ She totally knows exactly what he's getting at, but where's the fun in just dumping a whole bunch of exposition? ]

He understands. Better than he should, maybe, because he has Religion. ]
I believe I understand.
[ And he actually sounds a little pleased. ]
True self is without form. The body your soul inhabits is not what defines you. Am I correct?

He sounds so happy and gentle that even she doesn't have the heart to tell him that's not quite it. He's close, though. ]
Yes! It's something like that. [ Maybe she does owe a bit of an explanation, though. ] I died, and I became a ghost. An... acquaintance built a body for my soul to inhabit. I was later resurrected, fully alive and the way you see me now.
[ Good enough, right? She thinks the bit about her dreamself and her sacrificial slab might get a little convoluted, and she's trying so hard not to be overly complicated... ]

I see. I always have believed the soul is eternal, and mysterious. But I did not know it could... self-resurrect ones body.
[Don't tell Genji.]

[ She sounds more amused than annoyed, but perhaps a bit tired too. She's explained it a lot tonight... lesson learned. ]
Thank you though, for playing with me! I have a young creature that is demanding my attention now... but let's catch up, when get back to Oska!
