Hello there, it seems like we'll be waiting this out for some time considering the weather-type circumstances. While we're all rotting away, etcetera etcetera, I thought we could amuse ourselves with a game. A little bit of team bonding funtimes, so to say. Soo—oo ... it's called Two Truths and a Lie. How do you play? Glad you asked, it's simple! Give two true statements about yourself and add a lie to the mix, shake it up then toss it out there and see if your team members know you well enough to spot the lie.

That's...kind of a big goal. How do you plan on doing something like that? Hugging people? Making it Christmas 365 days a year?

If it involves hugs, then perhaps.

It is a lofty goal. I know. I also know that absolute peace is an impossible goal. But I can think of nothing more worthy of my time than to share my wisdom, and hope that my message of kindness and understanding is accepted.

How's it been working for you so far? Have people been receptive to your message?

I do not tend to visit the same place twice often, but I have heard that my message has been very well received in the places I have been to.

There are few people who actively want for hatred or war. Many just get caught up in the tides.

Of course. It's pure mob mentality. People go along with the ideas of the many because they don't want to be left out. But trying to combat that is easier said than done.

[A pause.]

But if I have to be honest, just talking isn't going to do much. It might spur people to take action, but I don't think it's quite enough.

What would you think is enough?

That's the million dollar question, isn't it?

Overall, I think "enough" would have to be a deep and fundamental change in every level of society. But for that to happen, a lot of work in different forms should be done, and I don't think anyone has a clearl-cut definition of what that entails.

I do not think you are wrong. A deep and fundamental change is needed. It is what my brother was working toward. He would put himself in places of deep conflict, and give speeches to inspire those who lived there to not give up hope. Perhaps, if I was as brave as he was, I could have done the same.
