[a combination of factors go into the following situation.
the first is that Peridot is mostly concentrating on the plane and when she realizes she's now gotten something much smaller to focus on, it's almost too late.
so when she shifts her focus, she manages to rip one wing off, which goes flying off to the side, and she ignores it in favor of trying to focus on Papyrus. the fact that he's standing on the metal she's trying to move doesn't help much, but she manages to give it some movement.
she's at least able to sort of halfway slow its descent as the rest of the plane crashes to the ground far enough away from her to make her sigh in relief. excellent. now if she can just keep focused on...
the wing she broke off earlier, however, was an uncertain variable and lands on her a moment later.
she's fine. she just suffered what it's like to have a 13% rate of success...]
