Did you know that some of the earliest recorded "new year's resolutions" were made by the Babylonians and the Romans? The Babylonians would swear to return borrowed objects and pay off their debts, while the Romans would begin each year with vows to Janus.

I suppose if I had to make a resolution for myself, it would be to "keep moving forward". But that's a little vague and difficult to measure, so I don't think I will. I'd wish you good luck with yours, but it sounds like you've put more thought into them than most do.

I can see a lot of people have guessed your lie for the game already. I know there's some sort of translator in place-- but are you using English intentionally here? If so, I'm impressed that your knowledge includes slang. [A pause, while he thinks privately to himself, and then directs one to the post:] Here are a few for me.
