Worthy Heracles left the country of the living ere I was ever born - but my father in the years of his prime was companion to him. It is told that when bow-famed Philoctetes lit the pyre upon which Heracles was laid to rest, the mortal part burned away but what remained was lifted by Zeus almighty and thus made deathless - then he has watched from where the gods watch all. How my heart burns with a warrior's pride to hear that such praise has fallen from the lips of one so renowned.

Surely, with a god's might and succor on our side, this battle turns in our favor.
