I'm glad one of our associates felt comfortable bringing his concerns to my attention. If one person takes my words a certain way, there are bound to be more who would see the same, regardless of my intent. Having the chance to clarify hopefully means I can avoid perpetuating that mistake.
It doesn't hurt for people to disagree. If we all felt exactly the same, we might not argue, but we might also make the wrong decisions in the end. So long as it doesn't become heated, I think it should be alright.
