VIDEO; UN:ODINSON
So we are to fight. [Odinson is freshly bathed, his hair tied back in a knot. There's a new light in his eyes at the promise of this. Killing robots is a task well-suited to him. This he can do.]
Being newly-come to this group, I know few of you, and few of you know me. I would know the skills and knowledge of those I will fight alongside. Or die alongside, if this enemy is truly so formidable. [The half-smile that follows indicates he doesn't quite believe that's a possibility.]
Myself, I am Odinson, of Asgardia, God of Thunder. [There's the slightest hesitation there, for anyone who'll notice such a thing. Something unsaid.] I have fought across the nine realms of my universe, and will fight here with hammer or blade or my fists until the enemy is routed or I am slain. If any wish to spar or learn to fight in the days before we are summoned to Oska, you have only to call on me.
Likewise, any tacticians or those with knowledge of Oska or the enemy, share your knowledge. We ought have some plan before we are shipped back. [Is that sarcasm???]

[Odinson is still not convinced that his brother has not ensorcelled this man into befriending him, but this is not the place to voice his concerns.]
I will fight alongside any who raises their arm beside me.

I will provide aid to those who request it, but I do not fight against mortals.
no subject
[A shadow passes over his face at the second remark- hitting at something churning within Odinson. He fought against mortals, restraining himself to the point that often they overcame him. Was that right? Was it his place to do so? He fights down the uncertainty; this is not the time.]

[ It's not as if Ahad keeps it hidden, but then he also doesn't often go around declaring himself a god. There's little reason to, for the most part.
Meanwhile, he'll he'll duck down a bit, while still continuing to stare unblinkingly at Odinson. ]

But now he has questions about what Loki wants with him, because of course Loki will know exactly what Ahad is.
Again he shelves his questions- not the time.]
What do you think of the threat facing Oska? You will not fight mortals, very well. What about machines?

The problem is interfering with mortal affairs. While this has grown to include all of us, the balance is...delicate.
[ He'll yawn, before refocusing on Odinson. ]
That, and I must serve my nature.
no subject
[The question of nature is one Odinson understands all too well. His own nature has not always served him well, and the less said about his brother's, the better.]
no subject
When gods interfere with mortal affairs, we only make it worse. Perhaps you have been fortunate enough to experience the opposite, but I have not.

And when the Watcher had confirmed it, the fear-seed had blossomed and Thor had fallen.
Hearing the argument here, now, from another wholly unconnected to Thor's tale, he is gripped by fresh fear and regret and anger. He has no answer to Ahad's questions. No questions for his own doubts.
His only salvation lies in finding another hammer, proving himself worthy again. That he cannot do here.]
That- You-
[Why was he fool enough to drink all the mead?]
I must go.

Ahad would never attempt to hold him, but leaving this open will help no one. At least as gods, they have nothing but time. ]
Go if you must, but I would speak further with you.
[ Even if it does begin to feel ridiculous, discussing such subjects as a cat. ]
no subject
The pause stretches.] A conversation I would rather have in person, if you are willing.
no subject
Odinson will find himself on the receiving end of another piercing stare, before Ahad continues. ]
This could wait for a more...auspicious time, if you have strategy to plan.
[ It's a temporary way out, if he wishes to take it. ]

[Punching things will clear his mind well enough to talk, or so he thinks.]
