[ standing amid the outer rim of the forest are two (possibly) familiar looking godlings. the one with the long hair is smoking a cigarette and pointedly ignoring the events transpiring in front of him, while the younger one clad ostentatiously in green enamel scales and a golden diadem seems to be giving the stink eye to an innocent looking pigeon.

the dark haired green one shakes his finger, flicking away some dried blood. ]

Ah—do we declare a state of emergency? [ he drawls with a sigh, bright green eyes fixing back on the camera. ] Before the I told you sos begin, we're missing one very volatile halfling mage. It seems that he's consorting with demons and the like.

Please return him if you see him, and try not to kill him.

Well, he has been, you know, possibly consorting with demons. There's that little detail.

[ not that he's certain where the Order is in this. ]

Forgive me, the notion of demons being an actual thing wasn't possible until I came here.

[ She's never believed in that stuff until she came here. ]

When you travel the multiverse many things suddenly become possible.

Something needs to be done, the re-capture thing sounds promising. The what to do with him thing, ah—still working out the kinks there.

This will sound very familiar -- when you do find him again, perhaps you should let his brother decide what to do with him. Killing him won't make this situation any better. He seems... desperate? If that is the right word for it, you've had more interaction with him than me.

The unfortunate reality is that Arthur seems ill equipped to deal with him.

[ while he's very used to Thor being able to deal with Loki, Arthur seems hesitant. ]

And most of Chantes for that matter. When people can't think of another solution, it always ends in "kill him" and "be rid of him" and the like. Rather short-sighted and unimaginative, if you ask me.

I'd hope it wouldn't come to that.

Is he, really? Or does he not want to face him like that? The loss of a sibling is unbearable, I can't imagine the pain he's in now.

[ Alice grimaces. ]

I don't know what to think; on one hand, what Michel is utterly selfish and his actions harm everyone, even the person he may arguably love the most and he should be stopped before he progressively grows worse. On other... Will we really be helping the rift here in this world if he dies?

I would hope not. There's other solutions to this, it doesn't have to be messy.
