FORWARD DATED TO THE 30TH. VIDEO. UN: LOKI
[ standing amid the outer rim of the forest are two (possibly) familiar looking godlings. the one with the long hair is smoking a cigarette and pointedly ignoring the events transpiring in front of him, while the younger one clad ostentatiously in green enamel scales and a golden diadem seems to be giving the stink eye to an innocent looking pigeon.
the dark haired green one shakes his finger, flicking away some dried blood. ]
Ah—do we declare a state of emergency? [ he drawls with a sigh, bright green eyes fixing back on the camera. ] Before the I told you sos begin, we're missing one very volatile halfling mage. It seems that he's consorting with demons and the like.
Please return him if you see him, and try not to kill him.

[ Scolding them? No, actually. But if they're really gods, then he'd rather assume it difficult to get one by on them than assume they were just too busy playing pachisi to notice. ]

Did you overlook the whole demon thing?
[ there were ways to throw off gods, but everyone had a different idea of what that divinity meant. ]

[ Though the same could basically be said for his familiarity with "gods." Children's fairy tales, probably—or maybe just stories long lost to the outside world. ]

Omniscience has nothing to do with it. It's about sorcery and the manipulation of reality—that kind of thing.

[ You know, because for all of his talk about 'claiming' to be gods, he doesn't actually disbelieve it. Why should he, considering all the elements of this mess? Still, he wasn't completely talking out of his ass. ]
I was trying to say you should have seen this coming. Is there nothing you can do?

[ there's a small wave of his hand to show how irritating it is that Michel managed to get around that. honestly, the whole thing usually works like a charm. ]
Desperate men and all.
We can continue our search and do what we can about the landmarks, of course. Perhaps appeal to his brother once again.

[ It's not really an attempt to displace blame, but more of an indicator of divided responsibilities. The tracker should have been enough, until Michel found a way around it. Then again, Ahad was familiar with demons that could hide themselves from gods. ]

[ Not that he thinks they can honestly afford to be picky with their choices, but this explanation is all the more reason to ask him really. ]

[ Michel had already proven illusive and not entirely willing to work with them. It was time to try Arthur again. ]

[ One that makes him consider it's too bad they can't hold Arthur hostage to open up negotiations with Michel. But in any case, there are things he recalls from the Order's meeting that seem much more sinister in light of this.
They'd never sounded good. ]
Do we have any idea what he's planning?

[ Ahad has a feeling it's going to involve death. Probably quite a bit of it. ]
