[ standing amid the outer rim of the forest are two (possibly) familiar looking godlings. the one with the long hair is smoking a cigarette and pointedly ignoring the events transpiring in front of him, while the younger one clad ostentatiously in green enamel scales and a golden diadem seems to be giving the stink eye to an innocent looking pigeon.

the dark haired green one shakes his finger, flicking away some dried blood. ]

Ah—do we declare a state of emergency? [ he drawls with a sigh, bright green eyes fixing back on the camera. ] Before the I told you sos begin, we're missing one very volatile halfling mage. It seems that he's consorting with demons and the like.

Please return him if you see him, and try not to kill him.

[ It's what the strong demons that he personally knows about could do. Not that they would, but the potential existed. ]

[ Coincidentally enough, it's exactly what one is trying to do back home. Needless to say, personal experience has both him left bitter and paranoid. ]

I plan to find Arthur. He may be able to provide us with some insight into what his brother is thinking.

Don't you think a more reliable answer would come out of Michel himself?

Loki goes in search of Michel. Between what we both learn, perhaps we'll find something useful.

[ Dipper pauses thoughtfully, then: ]

You don't think Arthur is gonna be the only one with any idea how to stop mages in cahoots with demons, do you?

No, I doubt it. There are others here who have had dealings with demons.

[ Or were demons themselves. ]

Got it. Then maybe someone around town might know a thing or two... Or the goblins? I wonder if there's some kind of library around, if that information is easy to get to...

[ Dipper seems to be thinking aloud more than anything, but there ya go. He isn't too keen on simply waiting for the next thing to happen. ]

The goblins and humans both keep their own records and collections of books. If there was much about demons in it, we did not find it before.

Fellow recruits may know something, as well. Different worlds bring different experiences.

At the time, no one was specifically looking for demons. To my knowledge. Unfortunately, we may not have enough time to make a more through search.
