Though I know many of you may be reveling or preparing for our departures, allow me a moment of your time for a few points.

Firstly, for those who are yet focusing their efforts on repairing this city and the relationships of its people, I have been conducting research in tandem with Doctor Wells that proves beyond doubt the inbreeding of this worlds' peoples goes beyond those who are first generation born of mixed parentage.

The evidence is in the blood- [A few drops on thin glass slides, which she helpfully shows in her small palm] even those who purport to be wholly human or goblin. If you can assist in disseminating this information to those in position to potentially use it after we are gone for the purpose of peace, it would be appreciated.

[She pauses, brow furrowing slightly.]

[But she rushes through that one, into the last thing she has to say, gesturing to a large collection of vials, herbs, and salves on her desk.]

I can only carry so much, and there is no guarantee that the next place we travel to will be one that is home to the plants and herbs I am familiar with as this place is, so if you are in need of any medical aid or herbal remedies, do ask for them presently while I still have time to harvest and prepare things.

There area always details, aren't there? [ it's curious, though, but unsurprising. the gods, humans and giants intermingled for thousands of years. ] Hopefully no one pulls percentages into play.

Now that we've meddled enough, I'm quite curious what'll happen to this place.

Always something more to be discovered. [She absently flips one of the blood slides in her fingers, watching the light from the returned sun playing off the browning smear.] I thought perhaps there was a chance the first generation children could be sterile, but.

- the last place we went didn't have a "good" ending. I cannot begin to guess for Chantes.

No ... [ he heaves a sigh and sounds a little bored. (disappointed, moreso.) ] But good is relative—there's push and pull, and sometimes good, I suppose.

I'm not very good at the good thing, but occasionally I do get it in myself to hope.

[Very relative. What was "Good" to one could be "Evil" to another as easily as some person could consider a color blue and another see it as purple.

I wish there was more to be done for that, but the hearts of people surely are best swayed by their own... We can only leave them the methods with which to see certain things.

What happens now is either in or out of ALASTAIR's projected spectrum. I suppose it's a sort of wait and see situation. [ but his voice is impatient. ]

[Perhaps the monarchy exacerbated the problem that led to Michel... But as someone who has thought herself a witch for so long, and one who is bound to use her magic to help and not hurt... She can't help placing more blame on the spell caster who blotted out the sun and threatened all life on the planet.]

Waiting is... Vexing, to say the least. There is yet that can be done, but... What will you do?
