[ Wherever Undyne is, there's a good view of the lake. She's had her ups and downs lately, but at the moment, she's looking very up, with a grin of excessively sharp and almost shark-like teeth. ]

So ALASTAIR doesn't want to lead us. Or help us out on missions. Or do anything even a little bit helpful for us! Maybe if they did, people wouldn't end up dead.

[ There's an I told you so in there somewhere, though she's probably not alone. After talking to Uruz and some of the other more tenured ALASTAIR employees, it seems like they're on their own to keep things together from now on. Those evaluations stung her hard, because she knows she can be part of something better. But this isn't the Underground, and King Asgore's not here to call the shots. And if ALASTAIR won't do it either, then who will? ]

So that means we have to help ourselves. We're gonna have to find a better way of making decisions as a unit. If everyone just does whatever they want, then we're going to keep getting a 6 out of 10! I want 10 out of 10 next time, or maybe even 11 out of 10!

If we work together, we can make it happen and get perfect marks. So, let's hear it! I know there are some other leader types out there. Wasn't someone else asking about that before?! But I already know how I'd do it, but I wanna know how you would do it!

[ Well. It's worthy a try, anyway. If nothing else, Papyrus will probably be proud of her... ]

Very idealistic, to believe that so many different worlds and galaxies can come together and agree on what is 'the right thing'.

[Its almost an accusation, but not quite. After all, as far as he was concerned, the First Order were the only ones who had the correct idea of how to handle an unruly galaxy. And yet, there were still people like the Resistance in the world.

Even the most upstanding of people fell to corruption and greed. That was what happened to the Jedi Order, after all.]

Strength is an admirable quality. Considering the whole and not the individual. Experience. All things that will win an organized army a war.

It is not what I think, it is fact. Belief systems are not universal. But my observation was not meant to dissuade. You do not seem very interested in leadership yourself.

[He's more...scoping out the competition. Because if she won't stage a coup, then he probably will.]

You did, however, open the floor for discussion.

Is this not a discussion?

[He did just say that he wasn't actually aiming to dissuade her, but Ren hardly has the patience to argue with someone he doesn't know. So he doesn't, and shifts gears slightly.]

Perhaps I should specify that I speak from a wealth of experience on the matter of commanding a galactic army.

A highly effective one. An army built and subjected to extreme conditioning to ensure conformity. It is no small feat.

[He doesn't seem offended by her question. After all, if she doesn't know any better, its his job to enlighten her.]

But I did not say impossible. Difficult and unlikely, yes. But until there is a reason, such as the impending reality of extinction, to motivate all parties involved...

[Po-tay-toe, po-tah-toe.]
