[ Wherever Undyne is, there's a good view of the lake. She's had her ups and downs lately, but at the moment, she's looking very up, with a grin of excessively sharp and almost shark-like teeth. ]
So ALASTAIR doesn't want to lead us. Or help us out on missions. Or do anything even a little bit helpful for us! Maybe if they did, people wouldn't end up dead.
[ There's an I told you so in there somewhere, though she's probably not alone. After talking to Uruz and some of the other more tenured ALASTAIR employees, it seems like they're on their own to keep things together from now on. Those evaluations stung her hard, because she knows she can be part of something better. But this isn't the Underground, and King Asgore's not here to call the shots. And if ALASTAIR won't do it either, then who will? ]
So that means we have to help ourselves. We're gonna have to find a better way of making decisions as a unit. If everyone just does whatever they want, then we're going to keep getting a 6 out of 10! I want 10 out of 10 next time, or maybe even 11 out of 10!
If we work together, we can make it happen and get perfect marks. So, let's hear it! I know there are some other leader types out there. Wasn't someone else asking about that before?! But I already know how I'd do it, but I wanna know how you would do it!
[ Well. It's worthy a try, anyway. If nothing else, Papyrus will probably be proud of her... ]

Jeez, look at this. [ Her voice is a little strained, but she still manages cocky. ] It's like you want that losing kiss.
no subject
[ No she wouldn't.
She would, however, consider breaking the table to try and throw the game. They'd have to start over, and she wouldn't be so distracted...
The more she thinks about trying to win, the less likely it becomes. She wouldn't be struggling as much if it weren't for her lack of concentration, but here they are and she's not doing a very good job at gaining any traction. ]

Yeah! Fucking nailed it!

[ If only she had tried harder from the start! This human was stronger than she looked (like Undyne was one to talk) and under any other circumstance, she would have been impressed. Instead, she just scowls, baring her teeth, and pulling her hand away. Pushing back her chair, she stands, and crosses her arms over her chest. ]
Alright. Alright then, you win.
[ The most reluctant concession in the face of clear defeat that Oska has ever seen. ]

Alright, c'mere, I'm collecting my prize.

Alright. Come get it.
[ Undyne continues to stand there, staring down the six or so inches between them. It's just enough to put her out of natural reach. Sure, there's probably ways around that, but it's all she can do to retain some of her pride. ]

Yeah, uh huh, get down here. That's part of it.

[ Yeah, she's feeling pretty smug, despite her loss. It probably won't last long, so she'd better enjoy it while she can. ]

What she got was adorable, and that's even worse than the worst. She doesn't even think to say anything or follow or protest or yell. Her train of thought comes to a very abrupt and screeching halt, as train operator leaps down to start trying to clear away debris from the tracks, in a very elaborate metaphor to explain why she just stands there with a dumb stare on her face and her jaw hanging. Don't mind her, she's just going to stand there for a few minutes, and rub at her cheek, and contend with this unsettling mix of bitterness and endearment. ]
