Law himself is looking decidedly less tropical with his furry hat and sour face, but he was just accidentally kidnapped and all but forced against his will to go on a crazy rescue mission. That kind of shit can ruin your day pretty easily.]

Someone tell me what I'm supposed to be doing. I'm hearing something about a volcano but- [Law stops short as a passing Nalawi bumps into him in their hurry to get wherever it is they are going. His only reaction is to sigh deeply.]

[What a great question, truly the one everyone is asking themselves now that they've done it. As frantic as the atmosphere is though, King knows they'd needed to act. It's better to take a risk than do nothing at all. Or, well, he knows that now, at least. Doesn't make him any less run ragged.]

The volcano is somehow connected to the native's power and their goddess. It wasn't supposed to be dormant. We don't know why it went dormant in the first place, and we were running out of time. We didn't have too many options.

I'm still trying to work out everything about being here myself. But I'd like to hope that the clothing is optional. It doesn't seem to offer much by way of protection.

It's not suited for the climate at all, either. It's far too complicated for any sort of field work.

I suppose I can handle if it doesn't suit the climate but not being protective can be more of a problem if we come up against anything dangerous. I'm fairly certain any healers we have would prefer we try to avoid being injured if possible.

Things came out of Nalalona after the bomb went off. You could start preparing by keeping an eye out for little bastards made of fire and piss.

Yes, exactly! It's incredibly frustrating, to say the least... We were given directions once to "help" the Nalawi, but I don't know if those are our overall directions or if was just because we happened to drop in during a storm... Our seniors came in later to help but restart this volcano in order to help the magic return, but I'm not sure if that is our real mission either and it... I don't think it actually worked out too well.

Pretty sure they give us the uniforms for a reason? But you're right. Maybe another uniform for warmer weather would be nice. Or -- you know. Real hot or real cold weather. It doesn't look too bad though, it's actually kinda neat! I just can't wear it with my Shepherd thing Alisha gave me.

Presumably there is a reason, yes. But until I'm told what it is, the fact that it exists is irrelevant.

As for the volcano... I trust that you all confirmed that their waning powers were directly linked to the volcano's dormant state before trying to blow it up?

Well, we knew the powers had something to do with the volcano. I mean, if you go to the temple you can see murals of their goddess and all. So if the volcano erupts, that means the Nalawi get their powers back. And I guess we would too. If we can.....figure out how.
