[Pearl was a little apprehensive at first to go ahead about this. But when she thought about it, this would be beneficial to many people here. Especially for people who were not used to missions, or even fighting for that matter.

Swallowing hard, Pearl lifts her head and sets her 'communicator' on a rock in the outskirts of the city. Out of harm's way. Once it was perfect, she starts.]

Greetings everyone of ALASTAIR. My name is Pearl, and I wanted to offer my assistance.

[In her hand, it looks to be a sword, held confidently. She bows in greeting to the jewel, shifting awkwardly. This was so different than what she's used to. Heck, she didn't know if it was even working.

Behind her, another 'Pearl' comes up behind her, with a sword as well, about to strike her over the head with it. But in one swift movement, the opposing Pearl falls to the ground, flickering. Pearl lowers her arm, the sword having penetrated the hologram, which fizzles out of existence altogether.]

I have experience when it comes to swordsmanship, and as well as experience with the use of a spear. I wanted to gather if there would be any interest for some training. We all come from many different backgrounds, myself included. I want to make sure everyone has a chance to defend themselves.

For now, I'm gauging interest. Also, if anyone else is interested in hosting some training as well. I don't... mean to be the 'head' of any group. I merely wish to help where I can. This would help immensely for what might be on the horizon for us.

If anyone has any questions, please let me know. And if you wish to speak to me in person, I'm just on the outskirts here.

Does that make you some sort of warrior or knight? Is that why you fight with a sword?

[She's always been a bit sheepish in showing anyone else. But with Tomoyo and Syaoran it was kind of inevitable. It's just something Sakura knows she will have to adjust to. If she wants to help as best she can with these missions and all, while here. She gives a sheepish smile at that, the Mirror simply standing next to her in the exact same clothes, and deciding to imitate the other before eyeing Pearl curiously. This wasn't Tomoeda. Surely this meant their Mistress was in danger somehow.]

I have other Cards too. It's just that Mirror and Sword seemed the best when you mentioned training. With Mirror, if I can train against her, you won't need to make me a dummy.

I was made to look pretty. I was made to hold items. To be an ornament. To listen what others commanded of me.

I'm... I'm working past that. That's why I learned engineering, mechanics, sword fighting, battle tactics, and much more.

Don't you have any hobbies? Things you enjoy? ...Besides fighting?

[It was an impressive enough list. Were he self conscious, he supposed it would have made him feel worse to hear someone was so accomplished despite their short-comings. For Ban, he excelled in his short-comings. As a thief, he was near peerless and his talents were only useful for him. As a human being, it was necessary to find a way to survive, but that was a lousy way to live.

Even Holy Knights were meant to do more than just fight. They had to be admired. A thief becoming a great Holy Knight and a hero to boot... Ban knew it was a disgrace among knights in the first place.]

I was perviously. I mean, I would have considered myself a warrior. I fought in a civil war many many years ago.

I read a lot about Knights, and I grew fond of the sword.

Mirror? [She furrows her brow as she walks up to Mirror and reaches out to touch her arm. Was this something similar to her holopearls? Maybe? But could this thing feel pain? Was it sentient?]

It's just a mix of techniques really! Nothing too special.

I suppose you could blame my skills in ballet and dance.

[This was difficult. Pearl felt like she was running into a brick wall, and making no progress. He was stubborn. Pearl closes her eyes and dismisses her sword away as the torches flicker behind her in a light breeze.]

Having a hobby is nothing you have to obtain. It's something you do. Reading. Drawing. Singing. Dancing. Anything that makes you happy.

But you seem to be someone who is hard to please. Then again, like you said, you are the sin of Greed.

Dance? I have to say I've never heard of anyone incorporating that into swordfighting before!

[ swordsmen? oh, well. those had their uses, too. not necessarily a cleaner fighter, or a faster one, but they got the job done. he's talking about guns. they were created specifically to kill humans, just like the ultra-hard steel of military standard blades were made specifically to kill titans.

No, I haven't. It worries me. It was some kind of creature in the message. I can only assume that's on our horizon in the future.

It just kind of... bleed into my battle techniques. It works adequately with my form you see before you. And I feel very comfortable with it.

Dancing is an important aspect of my culture. it wasn't until I came to Earth did I find out it was done for recreational activities.

Dancing was only a form of recreation in my world as well. What did it mean in yours?

[Pearl clears her throat, and rubs the back of her neck sheepishly.]

It's used for fusion between Gems.

[ Kida actually pitches forward a bit when her blade crosses right through the neck, having failed to meet any muscle or bone to interrupt its arc. The hook-spear buries itself in the dirt, and Kida is left a bit breathless, leaning against the finial.

After the moment passes and the hologram disintegrates, she lifts her head, taking in Pearl's expression. Ah. ]

We dance in order to synchronize our gems, and we then become one being.

I did as a child, too- well, there were stories told to me. My father was very fond of them, but that's possibly because he was named after a legendary king. I don't remember some of those stories.

[ Alice gives a small frown in disappointment. ]

[She says with a small apologetic laugh as she walks up to Kida, almost apprehensively. She looks down at her lance, seeing the curve of the blade. Pearl clears her throat as the torches around them highlight her blue tinted cheeks.]

I didn't mean to... judge. Before hand. [She says as she waves her hand as if to push away her previous comments.] I didn't know how experienced you were.
