[The feed is going to start up easier than it did last time. Looks like someone's actually learning how to use his communicator--how about that.

Either way, the face that Luffy's making this time around is a little bit unreadable. A smile is on his face, but somehow, if you're someone used to the sort of expression this man usually makes--it's clear that there's something not quite right with it.

Even if the tone that lights up the speakers is a bright one.]

Everyone been having fun yet? It's been messy, right? I hope no-one got too hurt when it came to the big ugly swamp monster. [After all, he'd gotten quite beaten up by it. Look at the bandages and scrapes on his hands and face.]

Even if you did, there's lots'a people here to fix you up, Like Torao. But anyway.

Have any of you seen Ace? My brother. He's always flying ahead of me when we go on adventures together, and he did it again this time around. So I think he got lost.

I'm sure we'll find him when the mission's over, but you know!!
It's not fair, I wanted to be the one who got ahead this time.

[He's so steeped in denial, it might hurt to hear. Sorry.]

That's very distinctive, I'm sure to recognize that if I see it.

I'm happy to help if I may. I can imagine in a foreign world like this, it's a comfort knowing where loved ones have wandered off to.

It should be very distinctive, I ought to recognize it right away.

I'm sure we'll figure out where he wandered off to. After all, there are quite a few of us to watch out for him.

Our associates are good people. When I was new, I found even when we disagreed, they were willing to talk things out, and put the team first.

[The disagreements had remained, but he knows that they'd invested the time they had in speaking with him because they cared about their overlarge squad.

And there's something to be said for that]

Those I worked with back home was like a family too, so I think I can understand the sentiment.

[Well, at the least...Haise had seen some of them that way]

Yes, I think you're right.

From what Sorey has told me, it seems we're returned to the same moment we came from. So fortunately...they won't have to worry, it'll be as though I was never gone.

[Haise may not necessarily take ALASTAIR at their word, but he sees no reason to question Sorey's intentions there. While he may still have his doubts...it seems their associate has proof it works this way]

Apparently, friends of his came from a later point in time. They were able to confirm that he was never missing, in their recollection.

I wonder if they'll be able to believe it. Seeing worlds, changing the future...

You'd only find that in fiction, where I'm from.

[He's had it suggested they may remember none of this, but he's not about to bring that up and dampen somebody's spirits]

That's a very proactive way to look at the world.

Determination really can get people quite far.

Persistence is important, I agree.

Let's continue to do our best.
