VIDEO. UN: LOKI
[ the sound of the wind storm hollows dully against the cave walls. Loki's squidge, Bacon, can half be seen crawling in the confines of his tacky green jacket and over his knee from where he sits, sometimes ducking and squeaking when a particularly large gust hits. to keep it from screaming, Loki offers his fingers absently, which the little squidge pulls on with its pudgy arms before ducking low again. ]
Hello there, it seems like we'll be waiting this out for some time considering the weather-type circumstances. While we're all rotting away, etcetera etcetera, I thought we could amuse ourselves with a game. A little bit of team bonding funtimes, so to say. [ he twists a dark nailed hand in the air, gesturing. ]
Soo—oo ... it's called Two Truths and a Lie. How do you play? Glad you asked, it's simple! Give two true statements about yourself and add a lie to the mix, shake it up then toss it out there and see if your team members know you well enough to spot the lie.
Usually this is done with copious amounts of alcohol, but we're lacking at the moment. [ pause. ] But—ah—you could always enjoy the satisfaction of being right. It's not like we're doing much else.
NOTE | Feel free to threadjack if that's your thing!! :****

[ Said tonelessly. ]
He was a kind soul. And a good warrior, mind you. But ill-suited for the complexities of our society.
no subject
Still ... a good brother, hm? Did that make up for being ill-suited? [ Before his death, at least. Please don't say that you killed him, elf. ]
no subject
[ listen not everyone had a murderous big bro OK ]
no subject
[ listen... ]

Do not trouble yourself. In truth, I am grateful that he merely died. He was not raised into undeath as I was, and so he knows rest.
no subject
Still... he knows rest, but is there not a chance you will join him? I suppose that's odd to say, isn't it?
no subject
[ He shrugs; he had not been playing this game to win. He is not much of a liar even when he ought to be. ]
The undead will never know rest. An unkind reward awaits me on my true death, whenever that comes to pass.
no subject
... why will you not? And what is the reward?

no subject
Aren't you suffering enough?
no subject
Apparently not.

It is far less cruel than what most people have to say to a death knight.
[ Which is to say: it's not cruel at all. ]

But I think that things are starting to get a little easier for him.
no subject
[ His tone is half-irritated, half-fond. ]
no subject
From that tone, you have been bombarded with such friendship?
no subject
[ A beat. ]
I would like your names, if you are keen to give them.
no subject
I forgot to introduce myself. [ And he got quite carried away too. ] I am Genji. My brother's name is Hanzo.
no subject
[ Easier to avoid someone if you know their name. ]
no subject
Quite the name. A title is it?
no subject
An epithet, yes.
no subject
Well, Koltira, I hope you won't come to find me to be just as bothersome a friend.
no subject
[ A lopsided smile. Even after the epithet, huh. ]
