so i was down here, you know, trapped and bored, and fucking around on my cell even though that's maybe not my best idea ever because there's sure as hell no solar recharge down here and what else am i gonna do for light, make a torch (hell no)
anyway point is i just noticed it's my fucking birthday today back home
so this is probably the shittiest birthday yet
i just wanted to make you guys all aware of how bad you should be feeling for me. as soon as i punch my way out of here i'll start accepting pity/condolence/regular birthday presents, so have them ready

'Cuz it doesn't matter anymore. I was mostly in the US recently — drinking age is 21 over there, plus age is just an advantage — but who's gonna give a shit here, right?

Oh, that's right, I guess it is over there...but yeah, age doesn't seem to matter a lot here one way or another. Ah, and I probably wouldn't be able to tell the difference half the time anyway...every time I try to guess I've been wrong lately. [He makes a bit of a face.] There's a thousand-year-old guy running around here who looks like he's twelve, so I don't even know anymore...

Yeah, no, not he-Kida. This one's, like, super hot. White hair, big blue eyes? Royalty, or something. She's pretty cool.

This new Kida sounds pretty neat, though??] Sounds like she stands out, at least...don't think I've met her yet, but I guess I'll keep an eye out, sure.
