There is rarely a time that I feel I should apologize for my entire existence, but the amount of embarrassment that I feel upon having to relive the memories of my younger... more impertinent self... calls for it.

That's true.

I just had a moment of ... I am not even certain if I can call it secondhand embarrassment. But it was embarrassment so real I could feel the need to activate my cooling vents.

I think we're all equally embarrassed. By the time you cool down, everyone else will probably be pretending it never happened.

I feel exceptionally foolish for feeling so embarrassed when there are probably others who are feeling worse. There are worse things than being a lazy flirty teenager, after all.
