Sure hope someone found out something worth while and we didn't just get our asses kicked for nothing. And I think we're gonna need a plan if we don't want that happening again, so if anyone's got a good idea now'd be the time to share it, yeah? We got through it, but it'd be bad if we got hit like that again.

They could be afraid, or just really devoted. With the right leader, you can get people to do some pretty suicidal stuff on a battlefield.

You know, it's funny. We were told the Deemers were a peaceful non-aggressive bunch but, GOSH, that sure wasn't what I observed!

Didn't see anything myself... there was what looked like some old ALASTAIR tech out there, so I guess it could be that. But it's got to have been there forever, you'd think they'd have just got rid of it before now, or something.

I picked up on a few things just from observing them, actually~

Well, for one thing, they seem to be very protective of one another- if one is attacked, the ones nearby will come to their ally's aide. There's potential in flanking them while they're distracted.

Well, that's something... but that strategy would need someone not too worried about self-preservation to be the distraction, wouldn't it?

I'm sure the Audentes are not at a loss for those types.

[so blithely. is he talking strategy or is he hosting a daytime cooking show. we just don't know.] There's more, however. They tend to scatter when dealt a blow to the head. Given the way they move, there may even be a hive mentality involved.

We're not exactly a small group. If we wanna keep from bein' noticed, I suggest we start by lettin' a few select people go back.

Yeah, I don't think all of us charging in there would do any good. We took enough hits the last time. Suppose we'd want people capable of sneaking around, though I dunno who's best for that.

If I had the rest 'a my force here, I'd just bring 'em along, but I'm the only one. It'd be a terrible idea to go alone.

My boys wouldn't know stealth if it bit 'em, so it's just as well they're not here... but we probably got some other people who are good at this sort of work, if we can get it organized.

Might be easier to come up with a plan, and then see who can help...

A lotta the important stuff I think's 'bout to get buried, so we don't really have time to lose. I think a small group of 'bout four people, with one or two searching and the rest bein' on lookout, would probably be best.

Infiltration could be a potential option. I am capable of altering my appearance to resemble a Qorral, for example. If others are capable of it, we can pretend to be new recruits to the Deemers' cause and report back on our findings from within.

Yeah? That's a pretty handy trick... Don't know if we've got anyone else who can do that, exactly, but if we can get a few more who are pretty good at sneaking around, that might be a real strategy.

It could make for useful sabotage as well, should they plan another ambush.

Yeah... although now that we're on to them, I dunno if they'll try the same trick twice.

Not in the same location, certainly; they surely expect us to be on our guard in those ruins, now. But the advantage of an ambush is that it can take place anywhere, at any time. Should any of them choose to return to the town, they can easily blend in with the other Qorral to attack us again.
