( curious phrasing, though perhaps not entirely unexpected. someone that has been enslaved sees it easier in situations others might not. )

I suppose I'm not quite free, either. At least I've got the choice to act or not, as I see fit.

( he can't decide whether he wants to be a member of ALASTAIR, but he sure can refuse to participate in parts of missions he doesn't agree with. can, and does. )
