Ahem.
[The video reveals a rather proper looking young girl (ignore the old blood stains on her dress), sat in front of a rather impressive sprawl of vials, jars, and herbs.]
I am Sieglinde Sullivan, and though I have made some of your acquaintances, there are far more of you than one can expect me to know- so please consider this my formal introduction.
[She pauses, until. Yes, that's right, no one could reply yet.]
My true purpose in contacting you all is to find out who among you is capable of healing, whether that be in the scientific or magical sense. I am aware of some of you, but I could use some assistance in the production of potions and salves if there are any among you competent with such things.
Even someone unskilled could be of use if you are willing to learn and have a steady hand.
I would also appreciate the chance to speak more leisurely with those who may have knowledge of healing methods different from those of my own.
I await your contact with pleasure.

It didn't feel right. Not now. Not yet.
Besides the magic, there was the little matter of the rather titillating nature of the trip. She had invited men into her own parlor since her arrival here, but. It would be her first time in a man's... Room...]
As a former sword yourself I did imagine you may be skilled with your blade, but...

Was there a lot of imagining, [His free hand, previously stabilizing her leg, may slide an inch higher. Completely innocently, of course. She's free to ignore the light brush of his fingertips against her leg.] then?
[At least their position meant he didn't need to control his expression. He can't help but smirk, trying to elicit a reaction.]

It truly was a good thing they couldn't accurately observe each other's facial expressions, because Sieglinde might have jumped a foot in the air if she wasn't actually holding on to Kiyomitsu. But- but perhaps she was imagining things, yes, that was a possibility, surely, but she accidentally froze up for... A long moment... Before she suddenly rerembered how to talk. And breathe.]
O- oh, I wouldn't say an abundance of thought... Simply an observation... !

[They make it back to the warm lamp-light of the Abel Inn. Even with the solemn situation (that Kashuu Kiyomitsu was entirely ignoring by flirting with a preteen), there was a certain bustle to the downstairs of the inn. Ah, he'd definitely need to stay tame while heading up to the room.]
We'll be there, soon. Are you comfortable? [one extra trace of the fingertips. for luck. maybe.]

Not the men from other worlds. Or... Men who used to be swords.
Terribly unskilled at lying, people in the lobby were likely giving them a double take- not just for the method of arrival, but the very, very odd look on Sieglinde's face.]
Perfectly comfortable... !
Obviously mature and experienced women such as herself didn't make much of such simple flirtations... !]

You'll have to pardon my mess, [he says, bringing her in. There's actually not a lot of mess, due to the fact there's not many things in the room. There's the basic level of decor to be expected in an inn. A nice lamp, sturdy desk, comfy chair, bed... But not a lot of extra things added. The most mess is a few papers on the desk and his casual clothes hung over the back of the chair. The spellbook is conspicuously not out in the open.] I'll put you down, then grab it.
[Bed, chair, bed, chair... Enjoy sitting at the edge of the bed, Sieglinde.]

She manages not to make a peep even when set down on the bed, knees pressed tightly together and hands on said knees over her heavy skirts, carefully not looking in Kiyomitsu's direction lest her attention be taken for invitation. Instead she concentrated on the mundane: lamps.]
You keep a clean quarters... It does not offend.
[She should say something, right???]

Here~ for you. [His first instinct is to just drop it on her lap, but he reins himself in to set it gently.] Look for as long as you like. [Even though he figured he was (mostly) done teasing, he does sit down right next to her, with little to no space in- between.]

She barely notices how close Kiyomitsu was sitting, instead staring down fascinated at the grimoire itself, beginning to example the cover for any seals before she remembered that he'd mentioned others finding it before, and they'd opened it without consequence-
Not realizing she hadn't said anything yet, Sieglinde cautiously opened the book, beginning to give it a cursory once over- checking the language, number of pages, presence of diagrams.
Like only the book really existed at that moment.]

[Sieglinde's expression is interesting, though. It was a sort of entranced passion. He wouldn't be surprised if, with a look like that, she'd stay awake until she'd gleaned every bit of information from the book. Ah, well. He smiles, a small, sincere smile. It's fine for now, he decides, letting her peruse the tome.]
