[She's been busy. As always. Helping with rebuilding. But at the same time, she has also taken some time to relax in the aftermath. Resting where she can in knowing things usually get a little crazy with missions and all. It's never easy. Realizing some friends have gone, whether on other missions or that they've gone home again. But she tries to pick herself up each time she finds she can't find or get in touch with one. She misses so many that have come and gone by now, after being here since the beginning. Since the dragons, since Chantes. But it still hurts, even if it does get better.

Which is why she often tries to distract herself. This being one of many attempts.]

I almost forgot! I know we're getting ready for the next mission and finishing helping where we can with the rebuild here at Oska, but. Before we do go, I wanted to tell everyone about an idea I came up with earlier, with Sonia-san. Since I know some of us have been here....a while. And some of us are newer, to get to know each other, or to help each other in being homesick, I thought -- ah, we thought it might be neat if we made scrapbooks! To tell each other and share things about our homes. I know I miss mine, so. I thought it might be a neat idea, if anyone else wants to. We both found some supplies at least. I sort of made a start on mine already.

Um, I mean, I'm not sure how many people might be interested, but. I thought I'd say something in case others wanted to join in and make one of their own too. Like I said, we have supplies, some we got back at Woodhurst. I hadn't figured on where or when to meet yet, if people wanted to, at least in getting the supplies from one of us, but. I'm sure we can manage something. Especially if this is probably something better to wait to really start on till next time we get back to Oska. Um, just...let me know, okay?

I just meant -- like some pictures or written descriptions of things that remind us of home? That sort of thing? I mean, I guess for some people things might not be the best back home but...I thought it might help us get to know each other? And help if some of us were homesick or still new and adjusting, how we're all away from home?

[She's not sure if she really explained herself well there or not. But she tried. And isn't outright admitting that she's homesick after so long and missing some of her friends that have come and gone over the months.]

Oh... I see. That does sound fun. We could collect materials during our next mission and make them.

I think Sonia-san and I got enough while we were at Woodhurst. Plus whatever might be here too. I mean we can get more supplies if we need it, but. I think we have plenty for now. To at least get started. If you wanted to try as well, I mean! When we need more, you can come help me get some.

[The more interest, the better! However that saying goes.]

Me? Um, I haven't really done this much before myself. But I could try.

[With the basics she has managed to figure, at least. The basic idea seems easy enough, at least. In decorating and gathering pictures or making them yourself.]

Okay. Maybe we can make pressed flowers from the greenhouse? Stuff like that.

[ It sounds like detailed work. While it's not impossible, it's also something she doesn't do often if at all. ]

Oh, really? That's good to know! If people want photos!
We can let them know, if anyone asks, to look for you. I hadn't thought on photos. I was more thinking drawings maybe if people wanted to do pictures of their actual home, but. Photos of things that remind them of home during our missions could work too!

Well, no. I figured that would be where drawings come in,

But you're right. I've met a lot of people here I wouldn't have back home. I guess -- everyone,
really. But, you live with your aunt then? For me, it's just my dad and my older brother.

( he's seen people get things from home from ALASTAIR before... why not pictures? though that might make it even more frustrating, that ALASTAIR could get them photographs but not back in the world where they belonged. )

But yeah. So far here, with ALASTAIR, it's just me from home. But I've made a lot of other friends, so it's alright. Back home, my best friend,
it's just her and her mum, so. I get it.

It's sort of like a photo album? Except it doesn't just need to be photos. There's stamps and stickers and different papers to use and all sorts! Sonia-san and I got a few supplies before, to share with everyone! At least, I hope we might have enough. Did you want to make one too, Graham-san?

I've never really made anything like that before, I confess, but I could try.
I don't feel horribly homesick, but a way to remember the people I meet here might be nice.

( especially when they end up going to a different team, or home entirely. )

[Because -- yeah. So many come and go in their time with ALASTAIR. Sakura thinks that is a good idea.]

Well, there's always drawing them?
Or writing about them and having pictures of things that remind you of them instead?

Ah, yes. Or it could be a picture you drew, or a quote or something that reminds you of home or where we've been here, the people we've met, with ALASTAIR. It's up to you, really. Did you want to try too, Julius-san?

There's a few books I enjoy reading. I found them in woodhurst. Maybe I can write short summaries of what we discovered?

Like with my journal you gave me? I guess you could use it like that, if you wanted! Sure! Except you could use pictures and save little things we find on the missions to add to it! That could be fun too! To record it all like that.
