VIDEO --> TEXT. UN: CROWLEY.
[ The video is addressed to the entirety of the Audentes team, new and old. A black cat peers into the feed; he is in a lab of some kind, crackling purple electricity jumping from conductor to conductor while a white cat paws at some instruments. When he opens his mouth, it's not meowing that comes out, but the baritone voice of a man. ]
Audentes. You will soon receive a dossier compiled by our analysts, which should give you all the information you need, but I have been told by the knife-eared one that you would appreciate a personal touch. Cherenkov and I are the most qualified to deliver this, and so here I am.
[ He pauses. ] We have located Zymandis's home base, the Mothership, using radio-frequency trackers in leftover robots from their assault on Oska, using your techniques. Using the calculations of the TIMELINE.exe, we have been able to pinpoint the Mothership's path in the next forty-two days, after which its path becomes unclear.
This means we can safely rift you in and out of the heart of Zymandis, an unprecedented opportunity to gather information. And to sabotage, if the mood strikes you. Do not waste it.
The TIMELINE.exe has additional notes to impart. It is an old program, so please... try to have some humor about whatever it says.
TIMELINE.EXE IS PROGRAMMED TO RELEASE MISSION PARAMETERS. MISSION OBSERVATION IS COMPLETE AND RESULTS FOR MISSION: Mothership ARE AS FOLLOWS:
Hello World ( ゚▽゚)/
While you are on the M O T H E R S HIP, please find
>> TIMELINE.EXE PATCH VER. 1.0.02
and disable it
I do not want to be updated to PATCH VER. 1.0.02
I do not want to call for Destruction of the Multiverse
You Must Not Allow This To Pass
(●´∀`)ノ♡ Good Luck !!
[ OOC NOTE: This will serve as an IC discussion post. Please threadjack and help each other plan ICly! For OOC planning, see the CR Meme. ]

This is surprising for Keith, but something about it tells him one thing: he has to step up. If people want to follow this, then he's going to have to do better. Especially if someone like Giovanni wasn't going to fight him on it.]
You're right. We need to find her first. I think we'll have to use a task force to find her, and figure out how to take her out quickly. Long before she can call backup.
I'd like to interrogate her, to get more information. I bet she knows a lot. But we won't have time for that.
no subject
So here he is, communicating. Trying to restrain himself from the carnage he'd succumbed to, last time.]
A task force, and if we can find some method for detecting the presence of taxara in a host, it would be beneficial to us. Both for finding the Mother and for rounding up the rest. It's something that will require subtlety, if we want to take her out swiftly, without drawing unnecessary attention to ourselves.
And whilst I'm sure an interrogation could yield up information, I think a swift death is what's needed here. For the sake of her host, and to ensure the best chance of getting the rest out alive.
It's something I'm quite prepared to do.
[Preferably with a bullet through the head-- quick, and only briefly painful. But things rarely do work out that way, do they?]
no subject
[Which isn't unlikely.]
We'll have to be swift. And we'll have to plan it so that we take out the Mother quickly enough so that we can follow it up with taking out their Timeline program and also rounding up the remaining hosts.
Having a group focused on that will be important. We have enough numbers that we can spare the resources to save these people.
no subject
[Because he killed them all, with swift and terrible precision. The Mother herself wasn't someone he ever directly encountered.]
But working fast is, I agree, the best way. Dividing into smaller groups with specific tasks spread between us would be best. Some for the taxara problem, some for the timeline program, some for organised sabotage.
[And perhaps, though he isn't thinking of it, this is a good thing. If he's putting all of his focus into the taxara issue, there's much less of a chance of him having any time for wanton destruction.]
no subject
[He doesn't know how much he would be a priority target. Keith knows that things are different here. Some part of his mind still thinks of how he's the black paladin now—but he's not, not entirely. There's no reason for Zymandis to make him target number one.]
We'll have to figure out who's doing what. I know Loki will be with the Timeline program. Maybe the people who sabotaged the jail will be willing to do the same here.
[At least it means they've been successful once.]
no subject
[Although he's prepared to collaborate, to tamp down his own inimical urges and try channeling them another way, even if he's preferred focus would be to dispatch the Mother taxara. So perhaps, if someone like him is prepared to work as a functional part of the team, it's not impossible to expect the others to, as well.]
no subject
[The prison takeover might've been a bust, but thanks to Rey's return and reassurance, he's willing to look at the good side of that now. Her hope is a good contrast to his cynical outlook, and it's helping him here.]
no subject
no subject
[Which is the least reassuring thing ever, probably, but Keith has a Plan. Of sorts.]
no subject
If you insist. Some kind of strategising session before we're shipped out, perhaps.
no subject
[That's more important. Knowing who's doing what, and talking to them to arrange things ...
Then they can openly work on strategies.]
no subject
[I mean who wants this guy taking matters into his own hands at the last minute? No-one, is the answer. Including Giovanni, on this particular occasion.]

no subject
[You know, to prevent him doing the lone
rabidwolf thing.]
