let's hear some thoughts and feelings about truces.
you know, for the mission. we've gotta get these guys to get along somehow.
[yeah it's definitely not like a personal issue or anything don't be weird.]

though it's important to keep in mind that nobody's actually at war yet.

that said, if they made a truce and the mountain clan attacked the sea clan after making the truce, it'd probably be off, right? because, you know. that makes sense.

but, if ... i don't know, if they had a truce and a solider or something, from one clan, attacked someone from another clan, would that ruin the whole truce or should it just be a one-off thing?
i seriously thought i responded to this.
no worries!

if there's an imbalance or not enough territory to go around, sooner or later some idiot's gonna get a bright idea

so you think even if they did make some kind of arrangement to get along, it'd probably get broken sooner or later?
seems pretty in-line with my experiences

We haven't exactly heard from the Sea Clan yet, have we? There's always a reason for not getting along.

[looks at his blvd of broken friendship ... looks at his hands.]
guess we should wait until we know more about the sea clan before trying to plan anything.

...especially when you have strong personalities on either side.
...and people with their own agendas.
Basically it's nice to imagine, but hard to actually accomplish.
[Personal experience? What personal experience?]
no subject
yeah, maybe a truce wouldn't work out in the first place between ... people with strong personalities. it's too much to expect either side to compromise completely. and then keeping everyone else in line with it is a completely separate thing.
