[There's a lot of negative stuff happening on this planet, and it's not at all the same sort of friendly heartfelt journey that travelling on Zeta-12 had been. And while Luffy doesn't hate being here, it's definitely putting him in a mood for better things.

And while he's not the type to complain about an adventure, he'll just do the next best thing. Which is simple enough for the pirate captain, and for any who might listen into the short, sweet, and to-the-point voice message.]

I wanna' know about the coolest adventure you've ever gone on. Or just the coolest thing you've ever seen.

[He's quickly learning that there are thousands of worlds and places he'll never be--so naturally...
He wants to know about them. So why not share a story or two.]

Whenever he does, he finds a way to befriend them, to find something worthwhile, no matter what they have done.

And take them in as nakama.

It's what he does. He protects those nakama.. his friends.. his family with his own life, and will do anything to be there for them.

He is that kind of pirate.

[While the captain definitely is a man who's predisposed to smiling a lot, the next look on his face is something far warmer, and far more sincere than his usual show. His shoulders hunch up, and he fixates on the communicator where Hanzo's speaking from with a bit of a laugh.

Hanzo might not be able to see his smile right there, but it sure as hell comes through in his voice.]

If you didn't earn it, you'd not get it. That's the way stuff works in this world.

[While Luffy is pretty much the King of smiles--the look on his face now is far more genuine than one of his regular little smirks. He looks like he's glowing--a warm expression that encompasses his entire face.]

I think this calls for a party.
