This is Detective Sebastian Castellanos. Most of you, I haven't met yet. But that's part of the problem...

So, let me get this straight. The literal sun is missing, there's half a foot of snow on the ground, but somehow no one's frozen to death yet. We have no real direction, no real idea who we're taking orders from, but we still have time to stop and celebrate the holidays.

Do we even know how many people we have here? According to what I've been told, recruits come and go all the time with no real records being kept.

What the fuck are we even doing here?

Unfortunately, I can't answer most of your questions. I've only just arrived a few weeks ago, myself, and I'm still a little... unsure about a lot of things.
But! The holiday thing seems to be a goblin custom, and since many of us are a bit out of sorts with the goblins and the humans, it made a little bit of sense at the time to do what we could to get back in their good graces?
At least. That's what I think it was for...

Oh goodness, were you not here for that? It was terrible!
Some of our own people were thrown in jail with some other people and they were going to be executed and everything!
So some of us broke them out and they've been in hiding ever since...
It's, um. Made things a little tense.
