So, let me get this straight. The literal sun is missing, there's half a foot of snow on the ground, but somehow no one's frozen to death yet. We have no real direction, no real idea who we're taking orders from, but we still have time to stop and celebrate the holidays.

Do we even know how many people we have here? According to what I've been told, recruits come and go all the time with no real records being kept.

What the fuck are we even doing here?

If I were more the record-keeping type, I'd say we should keep a list of what our supplies actually are, and an updated roster of all the people here under ALASTAIR's command, but...

It's not that I can't. It's just that I know I'm not as meticulous as I could be when it comes to shit like that. That kind of shit always fell to my partner, but he's not here.

It's a shame that he's not here now. We'll have to do the best that we can with the people we have currently.

It'd probably be best if we can keep everyone together as close as possible. Without the sun, without light, the chances of someone getting lost or dying is way too high. Hell if I know how to wrangle people together like that, though.
