VIDEO. UN: LOKI

[ comfortable on a cushy chair, surrounded by a few stacks of books that would make the leaning tower of Pisa jelly, Loki looks somewhat comfortable among the ranks of tomes and paperbacks. ]

Yes, hello—now that we're no longer in mortal peril, nor running for our lives in a illusion to be tested, nor feeling the horrible pang of hunger, etcetera etcetera. [ there's a twist of his fingers, as if he's dismissing it. ]

I'd like to take a moment to urge you to visit your local library. There are several titles to explore for those with inquiring minds. Learning about other bits and pieces of the multiverse is intriguing and necessary in such mandatory occupation such as ours.

[ a dark nailed hand slips beneath the right lapel of his jacket, fingers flicking out with a square of paper, which he deftly unfolds between them. ] I have a list of recommendations, including the following: A Midsummer Night's Madness, The Last Two Bachelors, My Sexiest Mistake, and Darling Cat. Oh, and the Forbidden series, of course.

Some do get a bit, ah ... racy, but reading is important, and we all are long overdo for a break. Treat yourself to forbidden love, unbound desires, all sprinkled with a little bit of scandal. Everyone loves a good scandal. [ someone is pleased about the possibility of it, at least. ]

A book club may be in order. I'm open to suggestions from those who've had the time between tasks and ... erm, well, tasks, I suppose. [ he toys with the paper edge of the nearest book. ]

Oh. Well, I'm human, yeah, if that's what you mean. But I wasn't raised with them growing up.

[Because Gramps and the other seraphim at Elysia took him in and all.]

By the winners, and the people writing it will obviously have their own opinion, no matter how neutral they might try to be.

That's true. Even those who write about people they knew personally, they're still going to be biased from their first hand experience and encounters with them. But even so, that's still better than not getting anyone's side of the story, isn't it?

[To at least have some sort of record of it, regardless of how obvious the bias might be either in the dead's favor or otherwise. But that might just be Sorey's own bias showing, given how much he loves history and wants to preserve such records and ruins as best he can. Or so he would hope.]

No, I wouldn't, that's why I try to read as much on certain eras and topics as I can, to get a better understanding of it.

[Multiverse though.....yeah.]

Multiverse. No kidding. I guess it's taken me a lot to try figure reading as much of our history back home. Let alone all these other worlds too.
