It is an interesting idea... to attempt to bring about change like it will be beneficial in the long run. So many people seem to think so, but how many of them are actually right? Oh, do not take that as words of war. I have no intention of going against the will of these people. I appreciate the cold and calculated way that they think, after all.
But on another matter, a little tame dragon found itself within my beak. It would be wise for those who understand my words to keep him out of trouble. His roar has become so quiet. If no one understands, then I suppose he shall remain a pet.
Though, that is not necessarily a negative outcome for me.

Are you saying you're some kinda bird person?
[She genuinely isn't trying to be a smartass here; she's just really dumb.]
audio; un: owl
But you are correct in a way... even if that was not the point that I am attempting to make. I consider myself a bird person.

Um, yeah. Hey, so, are you being literal? Do you have an actual beak?

Where the fuck are you? [Though from the sound of it he's already on the move - grabbing Masamune's swords as he does so]
audio; un: owl
I am touched to know that the Right-Eye is still around. But... you have not been watching over your dragon very well. You allowed others to tame him and now he is but a shadow of what he once was. I wonder if you ask where I am so that you can come into my collection. I am in need of making a new one here, and I would treat you better than what that boy could.
[ a soft laugh. ] But if you worry for your little lord, I am nowhere near him.
Re: audio; un: owl
[The sound of motion on Kojuro's end halts for a few moments, as he parses all that. Matsunaga doesn't have Masamune - that's a relief, though it means he will have to take a rain-check on that asskicking] I refused the offers of the Toyotomi - what makes you think I'd give in to an asshole like you? [he actually sort of respected Hanbei despite completely hating him]

The second part is more relevant. Dragons, literal or not, are something it's nearly impossible for a seraph to ignore. Dezel is willing to pay attention to talk of them, at least.]
Dragons are never tame. Or little.

But then, if he has become so small and tame, what is he now? A little lizard that forgot what greatness it once held? Though, that greatness was but a shadow cast by someone at his side. A shadow that the dragon thought was his own.
no subject
No. I don't.
[He doesn't have admiration for what he could have become, or for Hellions in general.
... Also.]
You really like the sound of your own voice. [No, no. No question mark. It's an observation.]

olivia had debated actually making this call, but after a good amount of debate, she decides there could possibly be no harm in this gesture she plans to make. he's a collector, masamune had told her — dangerous only to those who might have something he would want.
a mere peasant girl like olivia wouldn't have much that a man like hisahide would want, she's sure of it. and, if he should somehow turn his sights on her because of this, then it will have been worth it. "keep him out of trouble," hisahide says. there isn't much that olivia can do to control a man like masamune, or a man like hisahide himself...
but perhaps if she could make some sort of gesture to calm the tension them... ]
—um. [ her voice is quiet at first, but she soon gains more strength behind it. ]
Mr. Hisahide...?

[ Such an interesting device to show an image from so far away. He holds it up to turn it about his hand before disinterest grows. These are items handed out as candy to the people. They are not treasures for no one desires or hold them dear. If this is lost, another may come into his hand somehow.
He frowns.
Lifting his eyebrows, he acknowledges the greeting and cants his head as any curious bird would. His armor still stained black and faint red from the attack before but it appears to no longer be bleeding. ]

Why is taming dragons so popular a pastime, if you could enlighten me? It has been explained to me but I fail to see the appeal- is it something to do with maleness?

A tame dragon is sad creature that should be sooner killed than let live. But I have not the interest to kill. It has lost what made it interesting and so... something else can have it.

I consider the question forgotten because it is a dull question. The latter is interesting. I recently feasted on a crow. It was disappointing.
