[The video opens up in a darkened tent somewhere in the woods. It’s the middle of the night and most everyone should be asleep at this hour. The half-man isn’t going to be sorry for waking you up. There’s one candle giving off just enough light to make out what’s going on. Ushahin is lying on his back, has his eyes closed, and is breathing deeply. Did his ring accidentally send out this message in his sleep? Then his eyes snap open, none of the usual grogginess that comes from waking up present in his face. His voice is soft but carries a tone that says he’s used to people listening to what he has to say.]
The dreams of both groups here are all so very much alike. Fear, growing tensions, and mistrust fill up their minds. Their differences are minimal when looked at from the right point-of-view.
[He rolls over so that he is lying on his stomach. The shadows from the dim lighting accentuate his ruined face. He might have been handsome at some point before some horrendous injuries happened to him. A sunken cheekbone, the other riding higher than it should, and his left temple caved in are just the most noticeable. It gives him an unsettling appearance.]
To walk their dreams tonight has become tiresome. You all, on the other hand, are a fascinating bunch. I have seen much I don’t understand. These worlds you come from have many differences from my own. So let us speak of them this night. Tell me something that sets your world apart and I shall do the same.

[It's either this or go back to skimming the subconscious of his teammates for the next three hours and it's getting too confusing trying to decipher things like cars and cell phones without any context.]
And what are s'mores?
no subject
[ he begins to motion with his hands like it's doing any good to explain. ]
Two parts cracker of the graham, one part chocolate, one part marshmallow roasted over a hot fire. I believe the entire thing is fueled by scary stories, as I've yet to find anything to prove otherwise. The middle realms have some interesting traditions.

[Mainly just the descriptions Loki's giving. The basic gist of the conversation he's still able to follow.]
Must say that I am now intrigued by the food where you come from.

[ a pause. ]
Oh no. The mortals. The middle realms. That's their creativity at work. Where I'm from, the gods will spit and roast anything that they can catch, but the Midgardians are the ones with the various types of sweet desserts and breakfast sausages.
[ he says it again to himself. ]
So many types of sausages.

If I understand you correctly, there are multiple realms in your world, some of which involve multiple types of meat. And you come from one where there are gods.
[He gives Loki an appraising look.]
What does that make you then?
no subject
Oh, that's simple. It makes me a god.
[ he says, as if the answer is evident. ]

[There's a little more respect in Ushahin's face. He served a god back in his world for many years. He knows how very powerful yet human they can still be. It feels like he's in familiar territory now.]
God of what?
no subject
Chaos, lies, mischief. Those sorts of things.
[ and more, but that's what he's known for. there's fire in the mix, but he generally leaves it out in favor of the ones he's better known for. it reminds him that evil is a memory long past. ]
no subject
[He can think of at least ten worse things to be in charge of.]

[ he says easily, twisting a finger in the air. not quite a sentiment that he shares, but one that seems to be prominent, nonetheless. ]
