Well this has been a delightful show in how ungraceful pointless and needless violence is.

While I could care less what that whole fiasco was about, if there are those who are still hurt, I can offer my help in quick healing provided everyone would start thinking instead of throwing fists.

That is, thinking.

not hitting, not throwing, not punching, not biting.

thinking. can we all manage that for five seconds?

Yeah, but again, a lot of people were 'eager to battle'.

The magical society is kept a secret where I come from. It's for our safety and theirs, and that means there needs to be some structure upholding it.

[Without that structure, Harry imagines things would be even more difficult to pull off. Wizards keep themselves and Muggles safe at the same time with that separation.]

We'll always need more time, even if I wish it was much easier than that.

[Harry is resigned to the fact that they'll be here for a while.]

What was magic like in the world where it was well known? Was anyone worried about it?

We don't have anything called 'light magic', but we do have something called dark magic. It sounds very similar. Some of the laws about magic use constrain people from utilizing those kinds of spells, but it's easier outside of England.
