[It's King's device that begins recording, but he's not the only one in view. Both he and Haise Sasaki are planted in a corner of Oska's library, surrounded by books that they are no longer able to decipher. The books in their laps are clearly only frustrating them, and the rest represent a lifetime of squinting. A plate with a half-eaten cheese sandwich sits between them, and Haise is nursing a cup of coffee. He looks like he needs it. They both do, though King doesn't even bother trying to hide how fed up he is. Once he's sure the recording is go, he nods to Haise and begins a dialogue.
Then the text begins to appear.]
Audentes.
The library is completely useless right now, so we have a question for all of you instead.
[Haise, who is following the text as it appears, steps in here. His tone is noticeably less curt.]
We got to talking back on Zeta-12, and ever since, we've been wondering... How many of you guys have heard stories or myths about a place called Camelot? If you'd be willing to share them, we'd like to compare.
[This time Haise nods, finished, but King throws in one last detail.]
Especially if it's not just a myth.
[As King reaches for that cheese sandwich, the video ends.]

So far as I know, where I'm from it's folklore with a debatable place in history.

[What is this bullshit? King Arthur may be a king and all, but he's kind of... lame, really. King cannot comprehend why he's considered so important even on entirely different worlds. Is Merlin behind this somehow?]

Why's it matter to you, partner?

The Otherwold is a big place, after all, and I'm going to suppose that you want the dirty deets.
So, I get to ask: What's with the curiosity?

Oh, yes, I know of it. Only from stories, however. It was the location of the great King Arthur and his court. It's a fabulous place, a grand castle where King Arthur and his Guinevere married and many kings and knights are buried. It's become quite the major symbol of Arthurian legend.
Why are you keen to know of it?

[ Book nerd gonna nerd, but Arima is one too so he doesn't judge. ]
I've heard of it before, but we are both from the same planet, so that's a given. Does it mean something else in your world then?
text; un: king
[This is where he'd bow and/or embarrass himself if this meeting were in person. Luckily for him, only Haise has to see him flailing about everyone's differing answers to this inquiry. Or the way he looks awkwardly to the side every time someone from ALASTAIR brings up a word like "friend" when they hardly know him.]
It isn't that the word means something else where I'm from. It's just... not a story yet. Camelot is still just another kingdom.
