It's occurred to me that since our membership shifts and our backgrounds vary so much, it might be good to compare what we're capable of. More to the point, I was thinking we might be able to help each other pick up relevant skills, if not hone the ones we already have.

If people are looking to train or think they could help others, why don't we discuss that here? I know at least a few of us don't have backgrounds in combat, for example. On our first day here I met someone who wasn't familiar with firearms but might get good use out of the skill, for another.

In my case, I have experience training others and can help with hand-to-hand combat. I can work with people ranging from average human strength to well above it. I've got some skill with swords and knives, but I wouldn't compare that to someone who specializes in them, and that's something I'd like to work on. In terms of non-combative skills, if someone wants to work on something like cooking, I'm reasonably helpful there.

Let's see how we can help each other improve.

yeah, i feel you
half the time we're dropped in the middle of a mission with only a limited dossier to lead the way. something more attuned to the needs of a new member would help reduce the fish out of water feeling

sure. i'll take all the help i can get, and the more perspectives the better to cover all our bases. i'm peter, by the way. :)

sure, i will. in the meantime, this is a really great idea. i'd take you up on cooking skills, but my aunt says i'm a lost cause on that one. my own aunt, man, still stings.

that's nice of you to say, considering you did not experience the disaster that was my attempt at chicken tune cassarole
i don't blame aunt may for her decision, lost cause seems fair

yeah, i think so. & its biblical, which is why my mom picked it. though gotta say, peter wasnt exactly the greatest disciple to be named after, but i guess im not judas so it could be worse

ill keep it in mind. at some point i have to grow up, right? there can only be one peter pan and i dont look as good in green.

theres still some forsaking going on, but not quite judas levels. tbh theres lots of forsaking going on in the bible. and dont worry, my name is about the only biblical thing about me.

thats sort of nice, though. sometimes names come with expectations, though that isnt super fair. itd be nice to have that freedom.
