I believe I have some information that might be of use, or at least to consider.

[The voice is low and very even, having only the barest hint of a conversational cadence.]

My companion, Shuyi, and I managed to locate and capture Miz Poppy. We captured her and two of her Deemer companions, and as we began to take them back to Perdition's Rest, she had some very interesting things to say.

She reaffirmed that there was no way to safely separate a Taraxa from its host without the destruction of the latter. What is more troubling, however, was that she insisted that hers and her compatriots' mission of destruction was something which the TIMELINE.EXE asked of them.

Before we could deliver her back here, one of the other captured Deemers sacrificed himself so that she may escape in the confusion.

It is not my intention to offer this information in order to incite mass confusion or doubt, as it is quite possible she was lying. But I do not think we can completely discount that she might be telling the truth—or that she and her fellows are somehow deluded enough to believe that they are. It is, as I originally said, something to at the very least keep in mind.

I don't mind their anger. I don't want parts of the team actively working against each other.

I figure if someone can sweet talk the team nicely, most of them will come 'round. Especially with enough evidence that tryin' to save them is really only gonna make this harder.

But you usually aren't motivated.

[it makes sense. i mean, he gets it. but also hes actually trying to help with this saints know why]

There you have it. I'm a self-motivated man. Helps that I was a little inspired to lend a hand here and there.

Everyone is motivated by something.

[usually greed in his experience but you know.]

Some more than others, I'd say. But I'm a fair bit fond of it.

Still, that doesn't seem to be in the future for this kind of work.

I'm not overly concerned with the form of currency, personally. If there are other worlds like this one in the future, I'm content.

Was your home like this one?

Some parts were similar. Piltover, I guess. Nice place. Good money flow there.

Specialty acquisitions?

In a manner of speakin', sure. [You can hear him grin, practically.]

I understand. I can see why you're enjoying your stay here, then.

It's been nice, but the money flow is a bit... stifled. Some new scenery soon will be preferable, honestly.

The resources seem a little self-limiting once the scenery changes.

[fateality]

Suppose that's so. All I can really do is hope for the best. I tend to find that no matter what comes my way, I can benefit anyhow.
