[The video turns on, and this individual here is… very green. Neon green, even. And with a stone embedded in her forehead, very similarly to another person who posted once before. However, unlike Pearl, Peridot's voice is less melodic, and more… nasally. She doesn't sound happy, either.]

It seems somehow, ALASTAIR has sent me something from my home world. If only they could spend their time on sending me back instead of bringing things here I don't need.

[And with that, Peridot looks off screen, reaches for something, and places a weird orb with legs out in front of the video feed she's set up. It takes a few steps to settle itself, and then remains still again.]

This is a flask robonoid. It's purpose is … useless here. It's really just useless.

The only reason I'm showing it to any of you at all is so that if you see it around, it isn't a threat. I should just destroy it so that it doesn't get in the way, but …

[She kind of wants it around. It reminds her of a simpler time, when she wasn't stuck on a foreign planet. Instead, she just flicks at the Robonoid with a "finger" of hers, and a pool of liquid inside of it splashes around before it finds equilibrium again.]

… Just let it walk around.

Its typical function is for Gem technology repair. Originally I had this one programmed to repair Warp Pads, but without those around, it's purposeless.

It repairs Gem technology. I don't know if it works on human technology or anything else synthetic. It could be worth exploring anyway though.

I would have MUCH RATHERED they sent me something useful, like, I don't know, a Gem Destabilizer, but apparently they have no sense of usefulness. Exhibit A,

[She blinks, for all but a second before she looks entirely offended and flicks her video on. Furiously, she shakes her finger at the video comm in return.]

You're one to talk! Have you done anything to contribute to the group? Have you been teaching others to fight? To defend themselves?

Oh wait. You can't.

[Well Pearl's got a point. She can't fight, doesn't WANT to fight, and really the only useful thing she's done is save people from fighting. But like she'd going to admit she'd gone out of her way to help humans.]

And look where fighting in this scenario has gotten us.

[Taking the complete opposite of the stance she took a month ago? Yes. Doing it just out of spite? Also yes.]

Congratulations, you've inspired more humans to pick up weapons when it's becoming overwhelmingly obvious that the solution to this mission is communication-based. But you would help the humans learn to fight against any species other than their own, wouldn't you?
