But here we are, and I've god a question.

There's a good lot of us that got magic in us before ALASTAIR made, ah, any offerings as such. Maybe even got some magic in your world, sure.

Suffice it to say, I got some interest in what kind there is -- and what magic is like where you're from. How it works. The variety, the limits.

Always good to know about the trade elsewhere, as it were.

Listen up. I don't know that this will work, but I do got a skill that lets me see everything around me. Everything. I don't know that it'll let me see this thing in you, but we could try that.

No, it's not hard to see. Basic night vision on a camera can pick it up. It's just nanites, at base level. What I need is to talk to it.

Not so sure that I got anything that'd let me talk to it. Any skill I used to have with that is kind of out practiced. That doesn't mean we can't come up with a solution, though. What can you tell me about this thing in you?
