Now, I'm sure we've done something like this before sometime ago, but you know how it is; people come, people go, and we get new faces all the time. So it's a little hard to keep track of y'all sometimes.

But here we are, and I've god a question.

There's a good lot of us that got magic in us before ALASTAIR made, ah, any offerings as such. Maybe even got some magic in your world, sure.

Suffice it to say, I got some interest in what kind there is -- and what magic is like where you're from. How it works. The variety, the limits.

Always good to know about the trade elsewhere, as it were.

Nah, not unless you're somehow part of the river folk.

I'd need an actual card. Can't make 'em out of nothin'. But I can enchant any card that comes my way.

Weeeelll, my village is up in the mountains! There's plenty of river up there, doesn't that count? I even train under waterfalls!

Any card? What if it's a business card?

Ain't tried a business card yet, but I reckon I could make it work.

Try the library, maybe? Assumin' you know where that is.

Hmm, tell you what. I'll come find you, an' I'll show you where the library is. Sound good?

Yeah! Sounds like a plan, Maya Fate!

[An odd pressure fills the air in the kitchen, and with a snap, Twisted Fate appears out of seemingly nowhere. He brushes off the sleeves of his coat before turning around to look for Maya, grinning broadly.

[Why do you do things like this, Maya Fate. Twisted Fey is way too excitable and easily impressed for these kind of shenanigans, her eyes are already lighting up]

Maya Fate! Is that you?! Do you have a teleport card?!

[it would be really awkward if he were just some random bystander who wanted lunch or something...]

Not exactly a teleport card, but it's magic I can do if I have a card on my person at all.
