Hello, world!

[Oh, who's this guy?? Surely not someone any of you have met before!! JK, there's his username, slapped on the post like it always is. But this guy's a human!! Surely there's an explanation for this!!]

This is Zenyatta. If we have met before, then you might notice I am looking very different! If we have not, I do not typically look like this. I am typically an omnic- or as you might better know, a robot.

For the most recent mission, we have the assignment of "blending in" with the population. I thought this could be an opportunity for me to learn what it would be like to live as a human.

That is also where I could use some assistance. I am still becoming accustomed to human lifestyle, but there are many things that are new to me. For example, I have noticed there are certain rules about clothing most humans follow, but it was not exactly something I thought too much about as an omnic. I typically did not wear shirts, but it seems that this might be more of a necessity, as a human?

[As are socks. Shoes. Underwear.]

Another question I have- how do humans know when they are allergic to things? How do I run some sort of diagnosis to ascertain what I should avoid?

I am sure there are much more I have yet to discover, but some guidance would be appreciated.

Because potty breaks are a pain! You always have to go when you're busy and there's no good place around and when it's cold outside the paper always freezes to your butt.

But it doesn't matter, because being human means you can make fart bombs and have burping contests with all your friends!

I think I would rather, perhaps, like to experience... other human-like things first.

Okay! Ummm, have you tried eating yet? Or petting really soft fur? I pet you could pet Appa and he wouldn't mind.

I have tried eating ramen so far, and it was very enjoyable! I was not sure how I felt about so many... solid foods, and so I thought a more liquid-like one would be best. I have not tried touching "soft fur" yet though?

Soft fur is great! Especially when you have tons and tons of it and can sleep on it like a soft pillow.

Do you wanna come pet Appa? Ooh, I know! You should touch all the animals in the castle, that way you can feel the difference between all their fur.

[It's probably also the no. 1 method of collecting disease and bacteria, but y'know.]

Of course! Do you know where the stables are? That's where Appa usually stays because he takes up too much space in my room, so we can meet there.

How big is Appa?

[Because this is the first time you mentioned him big that big..........]

He's as big as an ostrich horse! [said with accompanying large arm motions] But he used to be a lot bigger than that, almost as big as a whole house!

Amazing! He sounds wonderful! I would love to meet him! Should I go to the stables now?

Are you busy with anything else? [eating pizza, learning about underwear, not dying in the shower....] I bet Appa could wait if he really had to.

You have a point. I am exploring so many things, and already, I fear I may have overbooked myself...

I'll be down at the stables right away. Did you wanna go for a ride on Appa after you pet all the different animals?

I am, and approaching the stables now.

Oh, a ride? I'm not sure... if it would not be too much trouble for Appa?

He won't mind! [He might mind.] Do you know if you get airsick yet?

[As he talks, he lopes towards the stable at top speed.]

Airsick? Well, I have been in planes before, and I can float, I do not think I would get airsick- ah, but I haven't done these as a human. I see what you mean. That might be an issue...

[ He has no idea. ]

I guess we'll find out when you try it for the first time! Don't worry if you get sick though, we just have to do it enough times that you get used to it.
